Recently I have been delving into my family history and I am learning about my family from the Greenport NY. My great grandfather was a painter at the Greenport Shipyard way back in the early 1900's. This piece was painted thinking about all the fishing, military and merchant marine boats that were made at the Greenport Shipyard.
